SUMMARY:FREE Veterans Golf Lessons
DESCRIPTION:Veterans living within Bensenville Park District boundaries are invited to take part in a free\, one-hour golf lesson at White Pines Golf Club\, providing a welcoming opportunity to learn the game or refine existing skills. \nLed by a White Pines Golf instructor\, the lessons are designed specifically with veterans in mind and will be conducted in a supportive group setting. “We’re honored to offer veterans an opportunity to experience the game of golf in a supportive and enjoyable setting\,” said Andrew Godfrey\, PGA General Manager. “Whether they’re new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills\, these lessons are a great way to build confidence and connect with others.” \nTwo hour-long sessions are available: 5 p.m. Wednesday\, May 27\, and 11 a.m. Saturday\, July 11. The program is open to veterans ages 18 and older and is free of charge for eligible veterans. Advance registration is required.
