DESCRIPTION:White Pines Golf Club will host its “Golf Sticks and Drumsticks” four-person\, big-cup tournament Saturday\, Nov. 22. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to form four-person teams and participate in the scramble\, and every participant will take home a frozen turkey\, just in time for the Thanksgiving feast. Additionally\, each player will receive two drink tickets\, valid for domestic or non-alcoholic beverages\, to add to the festivities. To secure a spot in this exciting event\, participants are required to complete their registration and payment at the White Pines Pro Shop or call 630-766-0304 by Nov. 17. DESCRIPTION:Tickets are on sale now for the White Pines Golf Club’s Burgers & Brews Fundraiser benefiting the Friends of Bensenville Parks Foundation beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday\, Nov. 23\, at 37 Bar & Grill\, 500 W. Jefferson St.\, Bensenville. \nThe event\, which coincides with the Chicago Bears’ noon matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers\, invites community members to enjoy great food\, drinks and football while supporting a local cause. Tickets are available for purchase in advance from foundation board members and at the Deer Grove Leisure Center\, 1000 W. Wood St. in Bensenville. \nGuests can choose between tickets for a half-pound burger and domestic beer for $20 or a hot dog\, chips and soda for $10. In addition\, 10 percent of all sales at 37 Bar & Grill that day will be donated to the foundation as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to the community. The venue will also feature its Sunday Fundays football specials\, including half-priced appetizers\, $4 domestic beers and $5 Tito’s drinks.
