UPDATE: DUE TO WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS, THE EAST COURSE IS NOW SCHEDULED TO OPEN SATURDAY, MARCH 21. THE WEST COURSE WILL REMAIN WALKING ONLY UNTIL THEN.
Bensenville, Ill. (March 6, 2026) — Golfers eager to tee it up on both layouts at White Pines Golf Club will soon have even more reason to celebrate. The club’s East Course is scheduled to open for the season Friday, March 13, joining the West Course, which has remained open throughout the winter months. Both courses will be available for play, weather permitting.
In another sign that spring is on the horizon, golf carts will also be permitted on both courses for the first time this year, again dependent on weather and course conditions.
The East Course is opening earlier than anticipated following the completion of offseason maintenance projects designed to prepare the course for the upcoming season.
“Thanks to a productive offseason and some cooperative weather, our team was able to complete maintenance work ahead of schedule and get the East Course ready sooner than expected,” said White Pines PGA General Manager Andrew Godfrey. “It’s exciting to welcome golfers back to both courses and to finally get carts out there as we start looking ahead to a great season at White Pines.”
Golfers can also take advantage of offseason rates, which will remain in effect through Sunday, April 5. Regular season rates are scheduled to begin Monday, April 6.
