Veterans golf free at June 29 White Pines outing

Bensenville, Ill. (June 1, 2026) — Military veterans and a guest are invited to enjoy a day of golf, camaraderie and appreciation during the Bensenville Park District’s free Veterans Golf Outing on Monday, June 29, at White Pines Golf Club, 500 W. Jefferson St.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes up to 18 holes of golf, access to the driving range and putting course, and a lunch buffet at 37 Bar & Grill from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans who prefer not to golf are welcome to participate in the driving range and putting activities.

A short game clinic will also be offered at noon, providing participants with tips and instruction to improve their golf skills.

The outing is free for veterans residing within Bensenville Park District boundaries and one guest. Proof of residency and military service may be required. Space is limited.

“Taking time to thank our veterans for their service is one of the most important things we can do as a community,” said Andrew Godfrey, White Pines PGA General Manager. “This outing is a small way to show our appreciation for the sacrifices they have made and to provide an opportunity for them to enjoy a day of fellowship, recreation and recognition.”

Early registration is currently available for those living within park district boundaries. Registration for all others opens June 8.

Advance registration is required. Visit the White Pines Golf Club Pro Shop or call 630-766-0304 to sign up.
