FREE Veterans Golf Lessons

Veterans living within Bensenville Park District boundaries are invited to take part in a free, one-hour golf lesson at White Pines Golf Club, providing a welcoming opportunity to learn the game or refine existing skills.

Led by a White Pines Golf instructor, the lessons are designed specifically with veterans in mind and will be conducted in a supportive group setting. “We’re honored to offer veterans an opportunity to experience the game of golf in a supportive and enjoyable setting,” said Andrew Godfrey, PGA General Manager. “Whether they’re new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills, these lessons are a great way to build confidence and connect with others.”

Two hour-long sessions are available: 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, and 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11. The program is open to veterans ages 18 and older and is free of charge for eligible veterans.
