Live at White Pines FREE salsa night to feature music of Caribe Project

Food from Los Buenos Diaz Mexican Grill and beverages available for purchase

Bensenville, Ill.—The Bensenville Park District announced that Chicago-based salsa band Caribe Project will perform at Live at White Pines salsa night, presented by Los Buenos Diaz Mexican Grill. The event—which includes free salsa lessons and live music—takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, August 18, at the White Pines Golf Club’s tented pavilion, 500 W. Jefferson, Bensenville.

“We are excited to be able to present this Live at White Pines salsa night thanks to the generous partnership of Los Buenos Diaz Mexican Grill,” says White Pines PGA General Manager Andrew Godfrey. “We look forward to great a great night of dancing and music from Caribe Project, as well as fine Mexican cuisine from Los Buenos Diaz and beverages for purchase.”

Caribe Project is a tropical band specializing in “old school salsa with a new school feel.” The band recently performed at Chicago’s Colombian Fest and SummerFest in Milwaukee and often plays with Tito Puente Jr.

The Live at White Pines salsa night menu will include authentic steak, chicken and pork (al pastor) tacos; chips and guacamole; ceviche with chips; and Elote for purchase from Los Buenos Diaz. Beverages will also be available.

Admission is free and includes access to the venue and entertainment. Doors open for food and beverage service at 6 p.m. Salsa dance lessons are scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. with music following at 7 p.m. Parking at White Pines is free.
