Park District to hold first-ever ‘Senior Prom’ for active adults

White Pines event for those 50+ to run 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5

Bensenville, Ill.—The Bensenville Park District is now taking reservations for its first-ever Senior Prom, 3-6 p.m. Sunday, February 5, at the White Pines Golf Club, 500 W. Jefferson Street, Bensenville.

The prom is intended for active adults, and those ages 50 or older are welcome to attend. The inaugural prom’s theme is Lollipop Sock Hop. The event includes a chicken dinner, music, dancing and assorted sweets. A cash bar is also available.

The Senior Prom is $15 per person or $25 for couples within the Bensenville Park District boundaries. Nonresidents are $20 per person or $30 per couple. Those interested in registering can do so at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville. The registration deadline is Wednesday, February 1.
