Deadline for annual candy-themed dinner-dance at White Pines is Jan. 30
Bensenville, Ill. (January 6, 2026)— The Bensenville Park District is rolling out the red—and candy-striped—carpet for its annual Sweetheart Ball, 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 7, at White Pines Golf Club, 500 W. Jefferson Street, Bensenville. This beloved community tradition pairs a festive candy theme with dinner, dancing and family-friendly fun.
The evening features a hearty meal with chicken and vegetarian entrée options, followed by an irresistible sweets selection that’s sure to delight sweet tooths of all ages. A DJ will keep the dance floor energized, and guests can enjoy interactive games and a playful photo booth to capture the magic.
“The Sweetheart Ball is a joyful celebration where families can connect, make memories and share in a night full of fun in advance of Valentine’s Day,” Recreation Supervisor Breana Forester said.
The Sweetheart Ball consistently sells out, so early registration is encouraged. Tickets are $35 per person or $30 for in-district residents. The registration deadline is Friday, January 30.
