Big cup golf tournament takes place Saturday, Nov. 18
Bensenville, Ill.— White Pines Golf Club will host its first-ever “Golf Sticks and Drumsticks” four-person scramble tournament Saturday, November 18, at 500 W. Jefferson St., Bensenville. The inaugural event, with a 10 a.m. shotgun start, promises a fun day of golf with a twist.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to form four-person teams and participate in the scramble, and every participant will take home a frozen turkey, just in time for the Thanksgiving feast. For those seeking an extra layer of competition, an optional $20 team skins game is available to make the day even more interesting. To secure a spot in this exciting event, participants are required to complete their registration and payment at the White Pines Pro Shop or call 630-766-0304 by November 13. The team entry fee is $360 or $90 per person.
“The ‘Sticks and Drumsticks’ tournament offers not only an opportunity to showcase golfing skills but also a chance to compete for top honors,” says White Pines PGA Golf Professional Bill Roper. “Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, adding an element of rivalry and anticipation to the day.”
Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to act swiftly, as registration is limited, ensuring an intimate and engaging experience for all participants. A minimum of 10 teams must be registered in order to hold the tournament.
