Space is limited; make reservations now for this family event

Bensenville, Ill.— Enjoy a holiday breakfast and holiday activities and get a photo taken with Santa at the Bensenville Park District’s Breakfast with Santa, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, December 16 and 17, at the White Pines Golf Club, 500 W. Jefferson, Bensenville.

Breakfast will be served from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and includes mini pancakes, a waffle station, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, assorted pastries and fruit. There’s also a kids’ station with favorites such as chicken nuggets, tater tots and macaroni and cheese. Beverages include coffee, hot cocoa, orange juice and milk.

New for 2023 is the Grinch’s Lair, which includes children’s activities such as a ring toss, Plinko, bean bag toss, a duck float and Christmas Bucket game. However, the highlight is a visit from Santa Claus and the chance for kids to interact with him and have their photo taken. Photo albums are posted to the park district website for download following the event. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 a.m. each day, with photos taking place from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to drop off at the Toys for Tots donation site in the lobby of the banquet hall.

“We wanted to freshen up the breakfast this year, as it is among our most popular events,” says White Pines PGA General Manager Andrew Godfrey. “We look forward to doing some good in the community while also making memories at this annual tradition.”

Registration for White Pines’ Breakfast with Santa opens Nov. 1, and space is limited. The fee is $35 for adults and $15 for children aged 3 to 15 (includes tax). Those age 2 and under are free. Register by calling 630-766-0304 ext. 2. Full payment is due at the time of the reservation.
